Galetossed in Everland Show

Galetossed has become a great jumper. You see, her wings were late in developing all their sinew and muscles so she couldn't fly at all until she was almost two and a half. Poor thing. However, Heather had the solution, for her training, Galetossed was taught how to jump. She's a natural, and even now that she can fly, she enjoys leaping going over the poles now and again.


~::It's Like Flying.....Only on the Ground::~
As soon as the Everland Stables Halter show was over, Heather jumped onto Goldrust’s back (She had been the mare she was showing in that class) and the two high tailed it towards Heather’s little campsite. Heather always felt a little off riding Goldrust. The mare was poetry in motion; anything she did was graceful and beautiful. Heather could sometimes pull off posture and style for a show, but that was about it. Usually she was just the country kid hanging on and having as much fun as the horse. Oh well.

The campsite was little more than A few set up tarp roofs and a chest for all the tack. Heather spent her nights in her sleeping bag, curled up against Scales, so there was no need for a tent. Speaking of Scales…. “Scales?! Is Windtossed ready for jumping?” IT had been Scales who had let the cat out of the bag about Heather wanting to enter this show. He’d been the one who’d excited all the others about wanting to be in classes, so he had agreed to help Heather get the other’s ready. His tail was perfect for grooming and tacking up!

“That she is.” The Snake-Horse (Hake) said with a fang-smile and a wink of his gold snake eye. He moved his massive green body aside and presented the beautiful unipeg to her rider. Gale tossed looked stunning. Her fur had been brushed and shined to perfection, her feathers were muck smoother than usual. Her long, tangles of mane and tail had been completely combed out! Her horn and hooves almost outdid the sun. Her tack was fit just right and the ribbon about her wings even matched.

Heather glanced out of the corner of her eyes to Scales. “Show off.”

The Hake beamed.

Heather planted a kiss on Galetossed’s nose. “Just like we practiced, Gale. You can do it!.”
